Travel Monologue

A breath of fresh air as you travel through the old country side in India. You see a glimpse of lifestock, going about their regular work. As I go down the narrow lanes I see two kids drawing water from the handpump. I look and receive a smile which says a thousand words.

I see a young man dreaming of the life he wants. A kid picking stones of the street to play. The elderly grouped together sitting on a charpai contemplating and busy in discussions. Women folk doing their household chores.

The fact is that the serenity is lost somewhere in city life. There are no bageeche filled with gigantic trees to climb on. No lush green fields to run in. No time to stop and admire the beauty that there is filled in this country.

There is loads of good the bad, the barren and prosperity. All rooted together. I think to myself how would it be like to live your entire life in this peace driven habitat. I am left with this thought but the thirst to explore more.
