30 Rules for the Big 30!!

Yes I am finally at that age "that shall not be named”. How time flew I have no idea and it seems to me like it was only yesterday I was celebrating my 25^th. Well now that I am officially going to be an adult; I promise myself of the things that I will change now that my 20’s are OVER!!

So here I sit pondering how would I list these lessons , in  ascending or descending order and I find it appropriate and rather selfish to list them down in descending order to give some satisfaction to my soul of the lowering numbers (silly..maybe but ya am gonna turn 30 :/).

So here goes….. My Rules to Rule my 30’s.

30. You will never have enough money, so spend wisely but spend on the things you want.

29. Always learn to practice “shut up” moments.

28. Yes, work hard but toot your horn at times.

27. Not everyone you meet is nice.

26. Complete your to –do / wish list.

25. When frustration builds, listen to music. That way you appreciate so much talent that there is..

24. Wear what you want even if its not in fashion, unless its ugly.

23. Let others pamper you sometimes.

22. You cannot make someone love you. Love but carefully, take your time.

21. Don’t be afraid to cry and admit failure.

20. Be brave, get that tattoo already ( this is more like a wishlist)

19. Explore, go see the world! There is so much in this world for your eyes to see and heart to feel.

18. Don’t follow god blindly, use logic too but have faith…always

17. Time does not heal anything, you just learn to live with it. The pain always remains.

16. Read, Read, Read. You can never have enough of information and creativity.

15. Write, write, and write. Even if no one ever reads it

14. Inspiration comes at odd places and hours, don’t waste it.

13. Be cautious who you invest your energies in. Your time is precious.

12. Be kind, it may not make the world a better place..but it makes you a better person.

11. Accept that some people will always hate you and you cannot please everyone.

10. Spend time with the people who really love you. Life is short.

 9. Judge a person the right way, learn to let go of the wrong ones.

 8. Always listen ( another wishlist for my chatty self). That’s the key to everything

 7. Love kids, they grow up too soon.

 6. Ignorance is bliss, trust me!

 5. Makeover’s are not always a blessing.

 4. Cherish true friends the real ones are your family too. Cut frenemies from your life..NOW!!
