Heavy heart, drunk words,
Teary eyes, hopeless dreams,
Countless promises, none to keep,
Dark paths, no stars, no gleam,
Moon shines, the sun sleeps,
Pain peaks, hearts weep,
Memories hurt, feelings fade,
Throat chokes, feet stumble,
Brick by brick, the wall builds,
Eyes hurt, insides bleed,
Inch by inch, death beckons,
Only to kill once again it seems.
